From Alabama Roots to Serving Seniors in Texas & Alabama: A New Chapter in Heavenly Care’s Mission:

Heavenly Care began with a simple truth: caring for others is sacred work. Founders Alice and Benny carry this belief from their Alabama roots—Alice from Shelby and Benny from Helena—where strong family ties, southern values, and community loyalty run deep. Both are proud graduates of the University of Montevallo, with Alice also earning her graduate degree from the University of Alabama, and family members attending Auburn. This heritage of connection and care is the foundation of everything we do. 

After moving to Austin, Texas in 2000, Alice and Benny launched Heavenly Care in 2005, providing Home Care and Nursing services to families across Central Texas. Drawing on many years of experience as a senior living executive, Alice understood that great care goes beyond services—it’s about the soul of a community.

In October 2024, Heavenly Care expanded its reach in Texas with Senior Placement Services led by Kathleen Jones in Austin, guiding families through the often-overwhelming choices in senior living with clarity, compassion, and expertise. Now, we’re bringing that same mission back home to Alabama. 

We are excited to introduce Heavenly Care Senior Living Solutions in Central Alabama, led by Amy Garner—a seasoned home care professional with a lifelong passion for helping seniors live independently, safely, and with dignity. Amy’s focus will be on connecting older adults and their families to the right care setting—whether staying at home with the right support or transitioning to assisted living or memory care.

With two decades of proven experience in Texas and now Alabama, Heavenly Care is uniquely positioned to serve seniors in both states. We understand that every senior’s journey is different, and our approach is built on trusted resources, deep community ties, and unwavering support from the larger Heavenly Care family. We are proud to serve seniors and families in Central Alabama and Central Texas with the values we were raised on: faith, kindness, hard work, and showing up when it matters most.
